What to include

Tell us your Windows and plugin versions, the step that failed, and the error text. Please do not send passwords, access tokens, complete rollout files, or private passages unless you deliberately choose to share them.

First checks

• Extract the complete Windows ZIP and keep the personal-info-marketplace folder in place.
• Run codex plugin marketplace add "C:\path\to\personal-info-marketplace", then codex plugin add personal-info@personal-info-local.
• Start a new local Codex conversation. The plugin reads CODEX_HOME, or your default .codex folder.
• The first search may take longer while the local index is built.

Remove derived data

Uninstalling the plugin does not delete its derived index or pins. Close the plugin and delete %LOCALAPPDATA%\CodexHistory, or your chosen HISTORY_DATA_HOME, to remove them. This location is shared with History if both plugins are installed. Deleting it does not remove Codex conversations.
